This Dynamic DNS service is provided by Astak. Utilizing this service offers the customers an easy-to-remember domain name to acces their embedded system (such as IPCams) even without permanant IP address.

To use the service please follow the procedure described below.

• Create an User ID on this server.
• Setup the IPCam to use DDNS service.

Create an User ID on this server

1. Click on the "Sign Up Now" and follow the steps accordingly.
2. After the User ID is created, a confirmation E-Mail will be sent to your email address, be sure to click the link in the email to activate your User ID.
3. After the User ID is created successfully, please proceed to the IPCam setup process.

Setup the IPCam to use DDNS service

1. Open your webbrowser and point it to your the IP you IPCam is located.
   
   
2. Click on the Camera image to activate the camera.
   
   
3. Click on the option 'ViewIPCam' to enter User ID information of the DDNS server.
   
   
4. Enter User ID and password of the User ID you just created, and click on the 'Subtmit' button.
5. If anything goes wrong the status column will show 'Update Failed', in this case please re-check the User ID and password entered.
6. Otherwise the domain name you assigned will be activated in less then 5~8 minutes.
